Q1: We are new to hockey. What are the divisions and where does my child fit in?
A1: Minor hockey is segregated typically in 2 year age groups starting with Initiation all the way up to Midget. See the chart below for birth year and division.

Q2: What is the GTMHA, and where are your rinks?
A2: We are the Greater Trail Minor Hockey Association located in the beautify Kootenays of Britsh Columbia. At present we have four arenas in our juridiction. Beaver Valley, Rossland, Trail (2 arenas).

Q3: Do kids need to be fully vaccinated?
A3:  As per Viasport ..Youth are exempt from the Proof of Vaccination program but the definition of youth is “persons under 22 years of age”

Q4: Do parents need to be fully vaccinated?
A3: At this time, only 50 spectators are permitted into each facility.  Contact tracing will be done at the door.
