GREATER TRAIL MINOR HOCKEY ASSOCIATION 

2024 -2025 U7 PLAYER REGISTRATION 

Please read the following information before registering. 

Welcome to Greater Trail Minor Hockey Association’s GROW THE GAME! 

For Children born in 2016 and 2017 and possible first year players born in 2015 (must complete Overage form)

Opening Day will be a fun skate Try it day/ Bring a Friend around September 16 (TBD)

Session #1

Session 1 introduction to hockey, runs from around September 30th – to November 17, 2024. 

Regular weekly sessions will consist of a weekday one-hour ice slot and a Saturday morning ice slot.

The conclusion of session #1 will be the annual Novice Tournament on November 15 - 17, 2024 held at Trail Arena. For the tournament, players will be assigned to teams. Efforts will be made to make the teams as equal as possible. Parents will be required to help volunteer.

Included for first year ever players is a GTMHA Hoodie and team photo

Session #2

Session #2 runs from November 18, 2024 to Sunday, February 25, 2025.

Weekly sessions will consist of one weekday one-hour slot and a Saturday Morning ice slot.

The program will include the annual Novice Tournament, February 14 - 16, 2025 at the Beaver Valley Arena, and one possible out of town tournament. 

For the tournament, players will be assigned to teams. Efforts will be made to make the teams as equal as possible.  Parents will be required to help volunteer.

The season will end with a fun Jamboree on around February 24, 2025 (date may change due to ice slots)

If you have played in another association and have just moved please contact gtmhahockey@gmail.com to get all information for transferring or look under the "Registration" tab on www.gtmha.com for transferring players.

Players may start the U7 Program at any point in the season prior to January 10, 2025, at the discretion of the Division Director. Any player registering after the start of hockey will not receive prorated registration. 

Rates:  2nd year players $275 full season, may pay in split payments

First time registering $100 first session $100 second session

Please make sure you complete all requirements on the online page. 

Refunds before ice sessions start will be 100%. Refunds within 30 days of starting hockey will receive a full refund minus the registration fee ($50). After 30 days, GTMHA refund policy will apply, with no refunds after December 1st

All jerseys provided by GTMHA must be returned in the condition that it was provided in, allowing for normal “wear and tear”. Please wash jerseys in cold water and DO NOT put jerseys in the dryer. 

A jersey replacement or repair charge will be billed to any family that loses a jersey or returns a damaged jersey
